Privacy Policy

This policy explains how 7CRM (“7CRM”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit 7crm.in or use our products, including SchoolBee, PaperBee and Photo Studio CRM (together, the “Services”). We process personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who is responsible for your data

When you use 7crm.in or create an account with us, 7CRM decides how your data is used. When a business uses our Services to manage its customers’ data — for example, a school entering student records into SchoolBee, or a studio storing client details in Photo Studio CRM — that business decides how the data is used and we process it on its behalf and according to its instructions. Requests about that data should go to the business first; we will help them respond.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone number, organisation and login details (including Google sign-in where offered).
• Customer content: data you add to the Services, such as student, parent and staff records, attendance, fees, documents, property and lead details, client enquiries and photos.
• Enquiry data: what you send us through the contact form, email or WhatsApp.
• Payment data: plan and invoice details. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment provider (such as Razorpay) — we do not store full card numbers.
• Technical data: device, browser and log information needed to run, secure and improve the Services.

3. How we use data

• To provide, maintain and support the Services you use.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To respond to enquiries and send service messages (for example, account, security or billing notices).
• To keep the Services secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To improve our products, using aggregated information where possible.

We do not sell personal data.

4. AI features

Some features use AI models from third-party providers — for example, SchoolBee’s on-demand progress report analysis or PaperBee’s question generation. These features run only when a user requests them, and we send the provider only the data needed for that task (for instance, one report’s ratings and notes), not your whole account.

5. Sharing

We share personal data only with:

• Service providers who help us run the Services — such as cloud hosting, email delivery, payments, messaging (WhatsApp Business) and AI providers — under contracts that protect the data.
• Authorities, where required by law.
• A successor business, if 7CRM is involved in a merger or acquisition, with this policy continuing to apply.

6. Children’s data

SchoolBee and PaperBee are used by schools to manage information about children. Schools are responsible for obtaining any consent required from parents or guardians. Parents can ask their child’s school to access or correct the child’s information; we support schools in responding.

7. Retention

We keep account and customer data while your account is active. After a subscription ends, data is kept for a limited retention period that depends on your plan so you can renew or export it, and is then deleted. We may keep certain records longer where the law requires (for example, invoices).

8. Security

We use role-based access, encryption in transit, private storage for documents and access logging. Read more on ourSecurity page.

9. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact us at info@7crm.in. If your data is held by a business that uses our Services, please contact that business first.

10. Cookies

7crm.in uses only the cookies and local storage needed for the site to work. Our product apps use cookies to keep you signed in. We will update this policy before adding analytics or advertising cookies.

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
